Benefits of Joining
The NCBA meets monthly to discuss topics relevant to beekeeping. Our programs include hive management, honeybee pests and diseases, swarm control, plants and pollination, and much more. In addition we often show movies related to beekeeping. We also have a raffle table and several door prizes each month. Other benefits to joining the club are volume discounts on bee packages & nucs, bee equipment, glassware and other bee related products. We also have a member forum where you can post questions and answers. In addition, you benefit from having the knowledge of beekeepers, some with over 40 years of experience. We also offer “Bee School”. The classes run 10 weeks and will prepare you for becoming a full-fledged beekeeper. The school is run in the winter from February to April. We also publish a monthly newsletter. As well we have a online forum for all members!
